SPOTLIGHT:
The open practices will be three organized team activities (OTAs) and two mandatory minicamp workouts. The open OTA practices are slated for three Tuesdays — May 21, May 28 and June 11 — and will begin at 11:30 a.m. CT. The two mandatory minicamp practices are scheduled for June 4 and 5 with a start time TBA.
Due to ongoing preparations on Ray Nitschke Field for training camp, the OTA and minicamp workouts will be held on Clarke Hinkle Field this year. Viewing of the open practices will be standing-room only along the Oneida Street side of Hinkle Field.
"Ask Vic Day" will include a tour of Lambeau Field, a Packers Hall of Fame visit, lunch, an “Ask Vic Live,” and a few other surprises along the way. The event will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at Lambeau Field. Registration will begin at 10 a.m. with an 11:30 a.m. lunch. Door prizes will be awarded during the reception.
Cost per person is $30 (tax included).
The Green Bay Packers 2013 Annual Meeting of Shareholders will be held Wednesday, July 24, at 11 a.m., at Lambeau Field. The meeting will take place rain or shine.
The Green Bay Packers announced today that ‘Packers Family Night, presented by Bellin Health,’ will take place Saturday evening, Aug. 3. The event will benefit the Wendy’s Wonderful Kids foster care adoption program, a signature program of the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.

Operation Fan Mail
At each home game throughout the season, the Packers and WPS Health Insurance honor and host an active duty serviceman or woman and their family for their outstanding contributions by way of the Operation Fan Mail program. Since the program debuted in 2007, 56 families have been recognized and enjoyed a game at Lambeau Field.
Midwest Shrine Game
For more than 60 years, the Packers have designated one preseason game as the Midwest Shrine Game. At the game, the Packers present a donation to the Shrine Tripoli Temple, which operates Shriners Hospitals for Children. The total donated to the organization over the years currently stands in excess of $3.4 million.
Bishop’s Charities Game
Since 1961, the Packers have designated one preseason game as the Bishop’s Charities Game, with a donation being made to the Catholic Diocese of Green Bay. Approximately $3.7 million has been donated over the past 51 years.
Coats for Kids Collection
For the last 12 years, the Packers have hosted a Salvation Army Coats for Kids collection prior to a regular-season home game. In October, the team collected nearly $13,000 and 450 coats from giving fans, record totals for collections at Lambeau Field, bringing the grand total to over 3,000 coats since the partnership’s inception.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month
In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, Lambeau Field, as well as the players themselves, was adorned in pink. Zeta Tau Alpha, in partnership with the NFL’s A Crucial Catch campaign, handed out complimentary pink ribbons to fans attending the home game.

NFL Salute to Service Game
The NFL Salute to Service Game at Lambeau Field kicked off with a card stunt performed by the fans, honoring both veterans and current military. Throughout the game, several of Wisconsin’s most distinguished military members, as well as a local unit that had recently completed a tour of duty, were recognized. Fans also had the chance to salute soldiers currently serving overseas through a live, two-way video conference on the video boards.
Holiday Mail for Heroes
The Packers teamed up with the American Red Cross to coordinate a Holiday Mail for Heroes drive at Lambeau Field on game day. The drive gave fans the opportunity to send a message of holiday cheer to one of the many service members who are currently serving or have served our country.
DNC Sportservice Concession Stand Efforts
Area non-profit groups volunteer their time and energy to staff concession stands for each and every home game. In turn, donations totaling over $750,000 were given to the 91 non-profit organizations that volunteered during the 2012 season.
Sargento Touchdowns for Charity Program
The Packers and Sargento again partnered for the Touchdowns for Charity program, with Sargento making a contribution to the program for each touchdown scored throughout the season. A total of $100,500 was raised, benefiting the Wisconsin Hunger Task Force in Milwaukee County and Paul’s Pantry in Green Bay.

Protection is the Name of the Game Campaign
The Packers partnered with Verizon Wireless to execute a campaign entitled Protection is the Name of the Game. The project focused on a season-long cell phone drive, with Verizon Wireless making a $10 donation to its HopeLine program for each used cell phone donated. The program benefits victims of domestic violence in Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
First Downs for Trees
As part of their Green Team initiative, the Packers completed their third season of the eco-friendly First Downs for Trees program. With every first down the team gained, a contribution was made to the fund, resulting in the organization contributing a total of $16,000 to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. The program also received a $48,000 grant from the US Forest Service, resulting in a total of 852 new trees being planted.
Toys for Tots
The Packers and the U.S. Marine Corps worked together to host the yearly Toys for Tots collection at Lambeau Field prior to a game in December. Fans attending the game generously donated 1,700 toys and a record-breaking $26,000.
