Coach Of The Week

The Coach of the Week Program aids in the development of youth football, giving high school coaches the recognition they deserve. Each week during the high school football season, the Green Bay Packers will select one high school coach as the Coach of the Week winner. Each recipient will be awarded several items and privileges, including a $1,000 donation to the school's football program from the Green Bay Packers and the NFL, as well as recognition of the award on www.NFLHS.com, the NFL's high school football website.

Nominations can be submitted to . Please include the name of the coach, school/team name, school location and why the coach is being nominated for the Coach of the Week award.

HS In October 1999, the NFL launched NFL High School Football designed to serve as an online resource on all aspects of high school football for players, coaches, officials, parents and fans.

Among the highlights: News & Notes section is broken down state-by-state and focuses on the daily stories around high school football; The Players Corner and Coaches Corner highlights an NFL player and NFL coach every week; Information on college football eligibility requirements; Football safety and health; Cheerleading and the band.
