Packers Women's Association sets the 12th Annual Food Drive for October 5, 1998

The 12th Annual Food Drive for Paul's Pantry has been scheduled for Monday, October 5, 1998. On that date, the Green Bay Packers take on the Minnesota Vikings in their first regular season Monday night football game.

Members of the Packers Women's Association (PWA), along with cheerleaders from Ashwaubenon High School and Notre Dame Academy, will collect cash donations and non-perishable food items in the Lambeau Field parking lot prior to kick-off. Food items can also be placed in bins located throughout the Lambeau Field parking lot.

Paul's Pantry is a supplementary food distribution program for the needy of greater Green Bay metropolitan area. The non-profit organization distributes approximately 84,000 items of food yearly.

Last year, PWA raised over $12,000 and collected 25,000 food items. Since the inception of the food drive, PWA has raised over $80,000 and 236,000 food items through this food drive.

Help is needed by all fans to "Help the Pack Sack Hunger" by bringing a "sack of food" and/or cash donations.
