The Green Bay Packers Women's Association Teams Up With The Campbell Soup Company And The National Football League To Tackle Hunger

Tackle Your Hunger
Campbell Soup Company, the Green Bay Packers and the National Football League announced today that they will be teaming up to tackle hunger. At the beginning of the season, Campbell's Soup launched the "Campbell's Chunky NFL Tackling Hunger 2000" Program - a charitable program that links on-the-field performance of all 31 NFL teams to soup donations. As part of that program, Campbell's Soup will donate 2,000 cans directly to the Packers upcoming food drive.

The Packers Women's Association will conduct its 13th annual food drive for Pauls Pantry in the stadium parking lot from 5:30 p.m. to kickoff in connection with Sunday evening's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Lambeau Field.

"The Packers are thrilled that Campbell's Soup has continued their campaign to tackle hunger, and are grateful for their assistance with our food drive here in Green Bay," said Sherry Schuldes, Director of Family Programs for the Green Bay Packers.

Throughout the season, Campbell's will also donate 2,000 cans of soup to food banks nationwide for every touchdown scored by each of the NFL teams. The soup giant has set a goal of five million cans to be donated to food banks across the country. Through Week 4, the Packers have generated 14,000 cans of soup as part of the program.
