GREEN BAY PACKERS NFL GATORADE PUNT, PASS & KICK TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS

Forty girls and boys from Wisconsin competed for the right to be called Green Bay Packers Team Champions of the 2000 NFL Gatorade Punt, Pass & Kick competition on November 6th in Green Bay.
The competitors, ages 8 -15, advanced to the Team Championship round by winning local and sectional competitions within their age divisions (8-9, 10-11, 12-13, 14-15). The youngsters, who compete in separate boys and girls divisions, began qualifying in August. They competed in three of football's most important disciplines -- punting, passing, and kicking -- with scores based on distance and accuracy.
The results are in and here are the 2000 NFL Gatorade Punt, Pass, and Kick Green Bay Packers Team Champions:
8/9 Girls - Jenny Hess (Wisconsin Rapids)
8/9 Boys - Justin Sinz (Edgar)
10/11 Girls - Natalie Baumgardt (Wausau)
10/11 Boys - Ben Wright (Pittsville)
12/13 Girls - Traci Edwards (Menasha)
12/13 Boys - Shane Teigen (Prairie Du Sac)
14/15 Girls - Connie Fierke (Stetsonville)
14/15 Boys - Brent Creaser (Menomonie)
Each age division winner from the Team Championship competition will qualify for a chance to be selected for the National Finals. All finalists will receive an all-expense paid trip for themselves and their parents or guardians to the event. The national winners and runners-up will receive trophies and gift bags.
