Just like Mark Tauscher did last week, Tod McBride visited an elementary school Tuesday to read to the students. McBride visited with students from Pioneer Elementary School to present them with a special honor. The cornerback, on behalf of the Green Bay Packers and Coca-Cola Bottling, presented Pioneer with a 200-book classroom library from Scholastic Publishing.

The goal of the program is to encourage reading and education by providing students with books. McBride sat down and read books to students ranging from first-through fifth-grade. He read the Where the Wild Things Are while showing the pictures in the book to an excited audience.

After reading the stories, McBride had a question and answer session with the students. He emphasized the importance of working hard in school for a good education. McBride also took time out to sign autographs for his reading companions.
