Unheralded athlete who took over the right offensive tackle position as a junior...Started several games at both tackle positions during the 2001 campaign...One of the tallest players to ever wear a Notre Dame uniform.

2002 SEASON
Played in every game, starting eleven contests at right offensive tackle...Recorded 54 knockdowns as he helped the offense average 313.5 yards per game.

Michigan...Made six knockdowns, leveling defensive end Shantee Orr on a 3-yard touchdown run by tailback Ryan Grant as the Irish totaled 311 yards.
Stanford...Teamed with center Jeff Faine to clear a rush lane used by Rashon Powers-Neal for a 3-yard scoring scamper, making eight knockdowns as the team amassed 249 yards on the ground.
Air Force...Cleared a rush lane used by Grant for an 18-yard touchdown jaunt, posting five knockdowns as Notre Dame collected 335 yards rushing.
Florida State...Cut blocked linebacker Michael Boulware as QB Carlyle Holiday rolled right to find Omar Jenkins with a 16-yard touchdown strike as the Irish piled up 301 yards.

2001 SEASON
Participated in 210 minutes of action, playing in every game...Started the season as a backup offensive tackle for Irish...Recorded his first career start vs. Michigan State at right tackle replacing Kurt Vollers, who moved to right guard after the injury to Sean Milligan... Started at right tackle again vs. Texas A&M, then started at left tackle vs. Tennessee, Navy, Stanford, and Purdue after an injury to Milligan forced Jordan Black to move to right guard...Part of an offensive line that helped the Irish finish 30th in the nation in rushing offense with an average of 188.2 yards per game.

Michigan State...In his first career start, he made six knockdowns and cut blocked line- backer Josh Thornhill on a 6-yard scoring toss from Matt Lovecchio to Javin Hunter as the team gained 280 yards.
Stanford...Leveled defensive tackle Matt Leonard on a 47-yard touchdown pass from Carlyle Holiday to Jenkins, collecting five knockdowns as the team totaled 305 yards.


2000 SEASON
Played in four games as the top reserve at offensive tackle...Made his first career appearance vs. Navy in a 14-minute stint...Also appeared on offense vs. West Virginia, Rutgers and Southern California.

1999 SEASON
Redshirted as a freshman.
