OVERVIEW
Junius is a versatile lineman who began his collegiate career as an offensive guard in 2001 with the Aggies. He started four of five games he played in that year. The Broughton High School product then moved to offensive tackle in 2002, starting all twelve games.

Coston again shifted positions as a junior, lining up at center for every game. He earned second-team All-Mid Eastern Athletic Conference honors that year, as he collected 154 knockdown blocks. In 2004, he again led the team with 123 knockdowns, grading 90% for blocking consistency while garnering first-team All-MEAC accolades.

He finished his career with 41 consecutive starts and helped clear the way for a rushing attack that averaged 4.5 yards per carry during his time in the lineup.

Has adequate muscle development with large hands and long arms...Shows good quickness off the ball and good aggression to lock on and control...High effort type that works to the second level and does a good job of walling off...Competitive, playing until the whistle...Shows good balance and anchor and is rarely on the ground...Shows good feet and lateral slide...Has enough quickness to get out in front on traps and pulls... Shows a quick burst out of his stance and keeps his feet moving, showing explosion on the rise...Does a very nice job of seeking out and neutralizing linebackers up field...Tries to lock on and push in pass protection, extending his arms properly to get good separation...Hard to take down or move off the line when he plants his feet...Will play through pain (see 2003 Hampton game).

2004 SEASON
All-American second-team selection by The NFL Draft Report...All-Mid Eastern Athletic Conference first-team chioice...Started every game at center, leading the team for the third consecutive year with 123 knockdowns...Added ten touchdown-resulting blocks for an offense that had only 27 touchdowns...Allowed three sacks as the team averaged 301.4 yards per game.

2004 GAME ANALYSIS
North Carolina Central...Collected ten knockdowns, taking down defensive end Sheldon Connor on a 50-yard touchdown pass from QB Marshall Glenn to Kenneth Perry in the third quarter as the team managed only 211 yards...Head to Head Competition-Anthony Harris-DT-One assisted tackle, 0.5 stops for minus 2 yards.
Alcorn State...Helped the offense gain 361 yards and he delivered twelve knockdowns, upending defensive end Ross Gordon while leading the way around right corner on a 3-yard touchdown run by Christopher Jones...Head to Head Competition-Rob Browne-DT-Nine tackles (1 solos), 0.5 sack for minus 3 yards.
Wake Forest...Even though the offense struggled to gain 221 yards, Junius made ten knockdowns...Head to Head Competition-Goryal Scales-NG-No tackles.
Elon...Opened a hole used by Brian Johnson for a 2-yard scoring plunge that capped a 9-play, 80-yard drive in the third quarter-Head to Head Competition-Emerson Fazekas-NG-Three tackles, forced fumble, two sacks for minus 6 yards.
Morgan State...Shoved linebacker Vincent Brown out of the way as Quante Speight ran up the middle for a 38-yard third quarter touchdown that concluded a 66-yard, 9-play drive as the offense accounted for 376 yards...Head to Head Competition-Tank Johnson-DT-Six assisted tackles, 0.5 sack for minus 2 yards.
South Carolina State...Took down linebacker Patrick Reed to give Adrian Moye time to throw a 61-yard touchdown bomb to Douglas Brown in the first quarter and on a third-&-1 play in the third quarter, he cleared a path used by Moye for a 1-yard scoring run that finished off a 10-play, 73-yard drive as the offense exploded for 486 yards...Head to Head Competition-Delorean Shaw-DT-Three assisted tackles.

2003 SEASON
Earned second-team All-Mid Eastern Athletic Conference honors ion his first season at center...Led the team with 154 knockdowns and had nine touchdown-resulting blocks for an offense that averaged 310.5 yards per game...Allowed three quarterback sacks and four pressures.

2003 GAME ANALYSIS
Norfolk State...Totaled fifteen knockdowns, including one that leveled defensive tackle Roy Lawrence on tailback Carl Scriven's 1-yard touchdown run in the first quarter.
Morgan State...Added fourteen knockdowns as the team totaled 218 aerial yards...Took down rush end Andre Williams to give QB Randal Rankins a chance to find Douglas Brown with a 6-yard scoring strike that capped a 9-play, 78-yard drive in the first quarter.
Howard...Chop blocked defensive tackle Marvin Wooten on a 5-yard touchdown pass from QB Orrick Watkins to Jamal Jones as the team accounted for 299 yards.
Hampton...Cleared a rush lane used by Carl Scriven for a 2-yard touchdown run that finished a 69-yard, 11-play drive in the first quarter...Played the entire second half with a deep left shoulder bruise, but took down defensive end Isaac Hilton on a 20-yard scoring pass from Watkins to Byron Phillips in the third quarter as the Aggies amassed 395 yards.

2002 SEASON
Played every game at right offensive tackle...Led the team with 110 knockdown blocks to help an offense average 301.2 yards per game.

2001 SEASON
Played in five games, starting four contests at left offensive guard...Sat out the Hampton and Bethune-Cookman games with a torn right calf muscle.
