Packers Draft Party 2009
What: Sixth Annual Packers Draft Party presented by Mills Fleet Farm.
When/Where: Saturday, April 25, from 3 to 9 p.m. at the Lambeau Field Atrium. Doors open at 2 p.m.
Tickets:
- Tickets for the Draft Party are priced at $25 and can be purchased in person at the Packers' ticket office. Beginning April 16, tickets also can be purchased through Ticketmaster in person, over the phone at 800/745-3000 or online.
- Children 6 and younger are free.
- Fans will be allowed to exit and re-enter with their ticket.
- Parking is free.
Packers Appearing: President/CEO Mark Murphy, GM Ted Thompson, Head Coach Mike McCarthy and other Packers staff. Packers players Will Blackmon, Brandon Chillar, James Jones, Ruvell Martin, Jordy Nelson and Aaron Rouse, along with alumni Mark Chmura and Aaron Taylor.
Features/Activities:
- Television coverage of the Draft will be broadcast on two new large, ultra-bright projection screens. Other flat screen TVs will be located around the Atrium as well. An enhanced audio system will be in place.
- 620 WTMJ Radio will be on hand to provide additional analysis and interview Packers personnel and players.
- Draft Party Medallion Hunt, featuring a 10-day contest with daily clues leading to a medallion hidden somewhere in Brown County. Prize package to the finder valued at $500.
- Draft Day Challenge, an online draft pick contest that calls for participants to pick the top five players chosen in the draft, plus the Packers' No. 1 selection. Prize package to the winner valued at $500.
- In addition to the action on the Atrium floor, the party includes seating in the Legends Club on the Atrium's fourth floor. Two large screen projection TVs will show draft coverage and beverage service will be offered. Flat screen TVs also will be in several areas on the Club Level.
- Draft Party is a Wi-Fi 'Hot Spot,' featuring free wireless internet access for attendees who bring wireless-enabled laptops.
- Limited seating with power outlets will be available, as well as battery charging stations.
- Several computer stations also will be available for fans to follow draft information online.
- Autograph sessions with Packers players. Upon entering, all attendees will receive a ticket for one randomly assigned autograph session that will include two players.
- "Stack Up to the Pros" - compare your own measurements (height, hand size, shoe size, etc.) with those of your favorite Packers players.
- Packers Draft History Trivia Contest with prizes including Mills Fleet Farm gift cards.
- First-Round Draft Pick Contest: If your pick is the same as the Packers' choice, you'll win a football signed by the Packers' 2009 No. 1 pick (will be shipped to winner).
- Opportunity to view Lambeau Field through a viewing box on the Club Level.
- Commemorative 2009 Draft Party cap for all attendees.
- "Be the Packers' No. 1 Pick" - a photo opportunity in which you appear as the team's No. 1 draft pick! Features a Packers press conference background, Packers jersey and podium. (Participants must use own camera.)
- "Packers Garage Sale" - features knick knacks and collector's items such as past issues of the Packers Yearbook and GameDay programs, as well as G-Force memorabilia and Packers media guides.
- Free entry for a chance to win door prizes, including autographed Packers mini-helmets.
- Tickets for raffle prizes also will be available for purchase. Raffle items include autographed footballs and autographed Packers authentic helmets. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Packers Foundation.
- Food and drink available for purchase at Curly's Pub, Frozen in Time and Atrium eateries.
For Children: Interactive games, including Wii, and inflatables.
