Packers Fan Fest 2008
What: Fourth Annual Packers Fan Fest. A celebration of Packers football for the whole family that will allow fans the chance to get up close and personal with their favorite Packers players, past and present, as well as coaching staff and front office personnel.
When/Where: March 7-8, 2008 at the Lambeau Field Atrium
Friday, March 7
3:00 p.m. - Doors open.
4:00 p.m. - Event kickoff ceremony.
9:00 p.m. - Day ends.
Saturday, March 8
8:00 a.m. - Doors open.
8:30 a.m. - Activities begin.
9:00 p.m. - Day ends.
Packers Appearing: Mark Murphy, Ted Thompson, Mike McCarthy and Packers Coaching Staff.

Appearance days and times will be released at the event. Players appearing are subject to change.
Autograph Sessions: Upon entering the event, each attendee will receive a Fan Fest program containing four autograph tickets, with each of the four tickets listing the location and time of its autograph session. Fans must obtain the autographs at the assigned times. Autograph sessions will be at varying times during the two-day event, with some attendees receiving one ticket for a Friday night session and three tickets for Saturday sessions, and others receiving four tickets for Saturday sessions.
Each autograph session will be open only to fans possessing the corresponding ticket. To further enhance the timeliness of the procedure, no posed pictures will be allowed. One item to be signed per person, per autograph session will be allowed. Players appearing are subject to change.
An autograph ticket "trading zone" will be available for attendees to trade autograph tickets with other attendees who have a different player lineup. Attendees are advised to note the times on each ticket in order to plan accordingly if making a trade. Selling autograph tickets is prohibited.
The procedure, developed from fan feedback, Fan Fest review and study of other, similar fan events, makes the process more organized and guarantees each attendee a total of four autographs as well as the opportunity to take in more attractions at Fan Fest. In addition to the scheduled autograph sessions, fans will have the opportunity to interact with Fan Fest participants Friday evening at a meet-and-greet session with the team's coaching staff, as well as Saturday when some participants randomly will be appearing at different areas of the event.
Activities:
- Question-and-answer sessions with selected Packers.
- Autograph opportunities.
- Fourth floor Main Stage presentations featuring "101" sessions with defensive coordinator Bob Sanders, special teams coordinator Mike Stock and director of college scouting John Dorsey. Other sessions include inside looks at the team's strength and conditioning program, athletic training department and equipment department.
- Tour of the Packers' locker room. Open for a "self-guided" tour Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Raffle prize that awards the winner, plus a guest, a 30-minute meet-and-greet session with a player on Saturday. Participating Packers, subject to change, are Bigby, Driver, Kampman, Grant, Harris, Rodgers, Poppinga and Jones. Photographs with the players will be welcome, as will one autograph per person during the session. Raffle tickets (10 for $10, 20 for $15 and 30 for $20) will be available for purchase Friday and winners will be chosen and announced Friday evening. Four winning tickets per player will be drawn and with each winner afforded one guest, the session with a player will total eight people.
- "Packers Garage Sale" - special Packers items at bargain prices. Open while supplies last during event. Located on the third floor.
- Friday night meet-and-greet with Packers coaches.
- Food and drink will be available for purchase at Curly's Pub, Hall of Fame Grill, Frozen in Time and Atrium eateries.
- The Gallery of Sports Art, featuring framed and unframed photos from the extensive collection of Vernon and Jim Biever as well as other artists.
- The Highland Mint, featuring limited edition minted commemorative coin sets as well as framed Packers photos.
- H.J. Martin & Son, featuring custom Packers carpet.
- Catch the Moment photo booth - Stop by to get your picture taken in a variety of different settings. Dump Gatorade on the coach, catch a pass or call a play, be on the cover of the Game Day program these photos get you into the game! Photographs are complimentary. (Saturday only.)
- Sony PlayStation kiosks, featuring game units allowing attendees to challenge each other to a friendly match.
- Raffle prizes: autographed footballs (example: Mark Murphy, Ted Thompson, Mike McCarthy), autographed helmets, mini helmets autographed by various players, footballs autographed by various players, home game tickets and additional Packers items.
- Raffle tickets are available for purchase - 10 for $10, 20 for $15 and 30 for $20. Available for purchase on Friday from 3- 8:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on the 4th floor north balcony or at the raffle table located near the Guest Relations Desk on the Atrium floor. Must be 18 years old to purchase.
For Children:
- Open 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday
- Kids Zone activities, including the ever-popular inflatables.
- Players mingling with kids.
- Coloring, bingo, Sony PlayStation and other activities.
Tickets:
- Sold Out. Good for both days of the event. Children 3 and younger are free.
- Winners chosen and tickets mailed week of Feb. 11. More than 1,000 individuals, representing 3,500 tickets, received mailings. Attendees come several states and Canada.
- During the signup period (Jan. 7-23), more than 1,500 individuals submitted applications, accounting for nearly 5,000 requested tickets.
- Complimentary lanyard to wear event ticket around neck will be provided upon first entry to Fan Fest (ticket must be displayed at all times).
- Complimentary program.
- Fan Fest ticket includes admission to the Packers Hall of Fame during the event.
- Portion of the proceeds will go to charity through the Green Bay Packers Foundation.
Fan Fest Lodging Available at the Airport Wingate by Wyndham: The first 25 fans who book a 2 night hotel package at the Airport Wingate by Wyndham in Green Bay for March 6, 7, 8 or 9, 2008 will receive their room plus 2 Packer Fan Fest Tickets.
The two night package includes a 2 night stay in a deluxe room with refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker, plus a full hot breakfast daily, free high speed Internet and a cookie reception at check in.
Package price for 2 adults is $499 plus tax which includes the 2 Fan Fest Tickets worth $170. Packages must be prepaid and are nonrefundable.
Make your reservation early as only 25 rooms are available. A maximum of 3 rooms may be booked per person. Call the Airport Wingate by Wyndham direct at 920-617-2000 to make your reservations.
Logistics:
- Fans will be allowed to exit and re-enter with their ticket.
- Use of cameras and video cameras during the event is permitted.
- Coat check is available near Atrium eateries.
- Lost and Found is located at Guest Relations desk on Atrium floor and at Concierge Desk on the fourth floor.
- "Break areas" will be located at various areas throughout the event.
- A limited number of wheelchairs will be available to Fan Fest attendees on a first-come, first-served basis at the guest relations desk in the Atrium (a driver's license will be required as a deposit).
- Parking is free of charge and available in the Lambeau Field parking lots via entrances off Lombardi Avenue and Ridge Road.
Sponsors: Presenting sponsors are Chevrolet, Goodwill Industries and SecureHorizons. Other sponsors include the Wingate Inn, The Ground Round, Citgo and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
