Head Coach Ray Rhodes
Overall impressions of the game: "That was a great football game. I'm exhausted. It really drains you. We really hung in and fought. Everytime my young guys lined up in the secondary I got a little nervous because they're fighting their hearts out. Our offense was not able to move the ball as effectively as we would have liked to at times. It was a seesaw battle, guys really fought their hearts out."
On Brett Favre's performance: "It was definitely a team victory, guys were fighting all around. But, what else can you say about number four? Again he pulled one out that didn't seem possible. The man made plays, he dialed things up and made plays. He is the best quarterback in football, he is the guy that can do that. I just hate to see us depend on that every week."
On Corey Bradford's performance: "It is great to see a guy like Corey, who has worked so hard to make some plays. He made some huge plays. Early in the game he made some plays. This young man is a great receiver who is only getting better."
Quarterback Brett Favre
On the touchdown pass: "I didn't call anything. That was just a play where the guys know what to do. It is not that complicated. I saw the coverage they were in, I pumped one way, and saw Corey break open, I was lucky to find him."
On his thumb: "It is still a little sore. Not as bad as it was last week. I'll rest up over the bye week, and be ready for Tampa Bay."
Cornerback Antuan Edwards
On his interception for a touchdown: "It felt real good to contribute. Guys went out there and worked hard to make something happen for this team. I like the overall effort on both sides of the ball. I made some critical mistakes at the end which almost cost us the game and I'll never make them again. I feel good because we won the game, but I still have a lot to learn."
On Viking receivers: "We worked hard all week. We tried to shut them down. We heard about them all week long. You get tired of hearing about Randy Moss all of the time. It made us work hard to shut them down."
Cornerback Mike McKenzie
On performance of secondary: "As a group on defense we went out there and made some plays. They made some plays here and there, but as a group we never gave up, we didn't give in to them, and we didn't get down on ourselves. As a defensive unit we really came out and stepped up to challenge."
Wide Receiver Corey Bradford
On touchdown catch: "It was fourth and one, Brett came out, made the call, I just said to myself, 'If he throws it to me I've got to catch it.' So, I concentrated on the ball and made the catch."
On what happened to get free on TD catch: "As soon as I released off of the line, the DB jumped straight to the outside, so I just kept my route straight. Before I knew it, the ball was in the air, I concentrated on it, caught it."
Placekicker Ryan Longwell
On his performance: "They turned out to be important three field goals with the way the game turned out. You would expect that against these guys. They're always close games against them, so I figured there would be a lot of field goals with the wind, you never know how it is going to happen."
Cornerback Tyrone Williams
On the secondary's performance: "We started the game real hyper. We just had to settle down and make some plays. We were not playing smart, we missed a couple coverages, but once we settled down, we played our techniques and made some plays."
Linebacker George Koonce
On his personal foul: "That's a play I shouldn't make. I knew they were going to come in and try to frustrate us. That was one situation where I had to keep my head, it was a very big play and I won't make that kind of mistake again."
