overall impressions of the game: "I think it was a good game for the fans to watch. Green Bay's offense played exceptional. They made a lot of big plays on us. (Brett) Favre was outstanding. I thought our offense played well. It gave us a chance to win the ballgame. We had them right where we like to have them, with them having to go 70 yards. They were better than we were.
"Offensively, against our defense tonight they took the ball right down the field. They made the plays. They got a lot of throws in against us, they made the big plays. Favre did an outstanding job. He made good throws and there were good catches. We know we are not supposed to give up the long pass. You have to give them credit, they made the plays."
on the Packers' final drive: "We thought we had them where we wanted them. The long pass to (Bill) Schroeder was the one that put us in bad shape. We were in a three-deep zone and they outrun us. I thought our defense did a good job; we just didn't cover as well as we needed to."
on the Packers: "They've got a very good offense. They had a good plan for us and really attacked us the right way.
"We're two-and-three. We were hoping not to lose two games in a row. We played better today than we played in Minnesota. We've got to win games like this. We haven't been able to do that.
"Favre is a great player, you like to watch him play. He was just tremendous tonight. Dropping back, making the big throw, putting the ball right on the money, 25 or 30 yards down the field.
"Any time you have the lead and lose the game in the last two minutes, that's a killer.
"Our offense played well enough to win tonight."

"This loss was unfortunate. We have a bye week now; we have to get together. But by no means are we out.
"You've got to make the plays in games like this.
"We were in the position we wanted to be (at the end). You just have to do the job.
"Our offense outplayed them."
