Vonnie Holliday
One of the few bright spots for the Packers on Monday night, Vonnie Holliday celebrates one of his 2 sacks of Jon Kitna.

It is the cardinal sin in football: Do not turn the ball over. The Green Bay Packers (4-3) committed seven turnovers aiding the Seattle Seahawks (5-2) to a 27-7 win in front of 59,869 in Lambeau Field.

The three individual bright spots for the Green and Gold were Corey Bradford, Dorsey Levens and Desmond Howard. Bradford finished with three receptions for 106 yards and the lone touchdown. This was the first time Bradford crossed the century plateau in the NFL.

Levens carried the ball 24 times for 104 yards, 65 of which came in the second half.

Howard started to get his rhythm with the return game, setting personal season highs in kickoff and punt returns. Howard returned the opening kickoff for 31 yards, setting the offense up at their own 37-yard line. He followed that with a 20-yard punt return.

The Packer touchdown came in the second quarter, knotting the score at 7. With a second and 11 from their own 26-yard line, Brett Favre hit Bradford in stride on a slant pattern. From there, Bradford simply outran the Seahawk secondary to the end zone.

This followed Seattle's touchdown, which came on a blocked field goal. The kick was blocked by Lamar King and was recovered and returned by Shawn Springs for 61 yards and a touchdown.

Both teams had trouble handling the football, as the teams combined for 6 turnovers in the opening half.

Derrick Mayes made his return to Green Bay as he caught a 10-yard touchdown pass from John Kitna to break the 7-7 tie and give the Seahawks a lead they would not relinquish.

Vonnie Holliday seemed to get on track with 6 tackles, 2 of which were sacks. Tyrone Williams and Jim Nelson each recovered fumbles for the Packers.

The Packers will try to regroup as they prepare for a divisional foe, the Chicago Bears. Kickoff is slated for noon at Lambeau.
