Packers Game Notes:
-Aaron Kampman, who started his 50th consecutive game, extended his sacks streak to five games, longest by a Packers player since Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila had a five-game stretch that covered two seasons, Dec. 24, 2000 - Oct. 7, 2001. The last player with a streak of at least five games during a single season was Reggie White, Nov. 5-Dec. 3, 1995 (five games).
-Tony Bennett established the franchise's longest sacks streak, seven from Oct. 25-Dec. 6, 1992.
-Ahman Green has three straight 100-yard rushing games for the first time since he had a four-game streak, Dec. 22, 2003 - Sept. 19, 2004. He can match that four-game this week at Minnesota.
-Green now has four overall 100-yard rushing games this year, and extended his franchise record with his 32nd such effort in a Packers uniform.
-With 122 more rushing yards Sunday, Green now needs just 544 yards over the season's final eight games to surpass the franchise's all-time leading rusher, Hall of Famer Jim Taylor (8,207). Green enters the Vikings game with 7,664 career rushing yards in a Packers uniform.
-Green has not fumbled since Sept. 24 at Detroit. Since that last fumble, the running back has 65 offensive touches (62 carries, three receptions).
-Donald Driver reached 50 receptions in a season for the fifth time in his career and joined James Lofton (7), Sterling Sharpe (7), and Antonio Freeman (6) as one of four Packers ever with as many as five 50-catch seasons.
-Corey Williams in the first half registered his third sack on the season, establishing a career best. Later, in the second half, Williams picked up another two sacks, giving him a single-game career high three sacks. He previously had two career two-sack games (also vs. New Orleans, 10/9/05; and at Detroit, 9/24/06).
-Until London Fletcher-Baker's second-quarter interception, Brett Favre had thrown 111 passes without an INT. Favre had gone without a pick over three full games for the first time since Oct. 7-20, 2002.
-Counting all recorded consecutive-starts streaks in NFL history, Favre tied No. 3 Bruce Matthews (229, 1987-2001) Sunday.
-He now needs 13 TD passes over the season's final eight games to match Dan Marino's NFL record, 420. Favre enters the Vikings game with 407.
-Terrence McGee's game-opening 61-yard kickoff return was the longest allowed by the Packers since Dec. 11, 2005, vs. Detroit. In that contest, the Lions' R.W. McQuarters returned a kickoff 73 yards.
-Donald Driver caught a second-quarter pass to extend his receptions streak to 72 games. The stretch is the second-longest in team history, behind Sterling Sharpe (103 games, 1988-94).
-Driver now has 29 career TD receptions from Brett Favre, tying the No. 7 duo of Arnie Herber-Don Hutson (29) on the team's all-time combination list. The duo needs three to reach No. 5 (tie) Lynn Dickey-James Lofton and Favre-Robert Brooks?(both 32).
-Charles Woodson recorded his 500th career tackle.
-In a field-position battle, the Packers' best start of the day didn't come until midway through the third quarter, when they started at their own 35. They capitalized by driving for a touchdown.
-The Packers had a seven-game winning streak against former Green Bay assistant coach Dick Jauron. The Bills' head coach now is 3-9 all-time against the Packers.
-Green Bay remains winless in Buffalo, one of four current NFL cities in which the Packers have lost in every appearance. The Packers' 0-5 record in Buffalo now is tied with Denver (also 0-5) for the franchise's worst record in a single locale. Green Bay also is winless all-time in Indianapolis (0-3) and Nashville (0-1).
-Green Bay's defense at one point forced punts on eight of nine Buffalo possessions, including a one-play kneel down drive on which the Bills ran out the first-half clock.
-On the Packers' game-tying field goal drive in the fourth quarter, Driver caught a difficult pass that drew a Bills replay challenge. After further review, officials upheld the call, taking away a timeout. Opponents have been unsuccessful on each of their last 10 challenges, a streak that began Dec. 19, 2004. Steve Mariucci, then with Detroit, was the last opponent coach to successfully challenge a call against Green Bay, Dec. 12, 2004, at Lambeau Field.
-The Packers in 2005 were 2-0 when reaching 30 points and 2-12 in the other contests. This year, they're 3-0 with 30-plus points and 0-5 without. Over a longer stretch, the team has won 11 consecutive games when reaching 30, and 16 of its last 17. Its only loss in that 14-game stretch was Sept. 26, 2004, a 45-31 shootout at Indianapolis.
-The Bills won the coin toss and elected to receive.
-Weather at kickoff: mostly cloudy, 47 degrees.

Packers-Bills Post-Game Quotes
Head Coach Mike McCarthy
General Game Comments:
"This is a hard one because this was a football game we had an opportunity to win. Just like the other one's, it's getting too late in the year to let these type of opportunities slip away. This is definitely one we need to overcome, but as I said before, this is a difficult loss."
"We did a lot of positive things. I don't want to sound like a broken record, but you have to put the ball in the end zone and you've got to keep them out of the end zone. For the most part I thought our defense was exceptional, special teams I thought struggled, and offense, the turnovers."
Interception on 1st and goal from the 1 yard line:
"We were in a personnel change and we were going to catch their defense in transition, hurry to the line and snap it quickly and hit the one step slant. That did not occur. I have a run and pass option in every situation. I think it's convenient now to say we should have ran it."
On Turnovers:
"It's part of the game. I think it's vain to sit there and say 'wow, we played a great game, except for four plays.' In the other locker room, they feel real good about those four plays. Minus four in the turnover ratio, you're not going to win too many football games. Those are four big plays of the game."
"You need to analyze it. We'll watch the film tomorrow and go through it. We'll talk about the giveaways on offense again and keep stressing that. It's been a recurring thing for us all year and until we get it fixed, it's gonna keep us from winning football games"
QB Brett Favre
Comments on the game:
"It never gets easier, even when you win it's tough. I expect so much out of my self and of course the team. We had our chances, that goes without saying. It's just disappointing to me. We knew their defense would play hard and they did. We knew we would have some opportunities and we did. As I said after the Miami game, and not to knock our team, we are not good enough to overcome a lot of mistakes and that was the case today. Buffalo really didn't make any mistakes. Offensively we didn't really help our defense out. It is just disappointing."
On the interception in the endzone:
"I think it got tipped. It is no different than the touchdown we caught several drives earlier. Guys from that distance are not going to be wide open and he was as covered on that one as he was on the previous touchdown. That would be the play that most people would point to as a huge turning point. We should have got some points, but that was a good play on their part. I think it was Nate Clements and he is a good player. The ball didn't bounce our way on that particular play. Donald Driver in traffic in those situations is as good as any. I will take him any day of the week and I don't second guess the decision from a play calling standpoint or where I threw the ball."
On the snap just before halftime:
"I'm not going to throw Scott (Wells) under the bus. We've all made mistakes. On that particular play, we wanted to go silent count, but we didn't and the crowd got up and we went on an audible snap count and he thought he heard second cadence. I was actually looking at our motion and trying to determine what coverage we had. That is unfortunate and I feel bad for Scott. I can see where that happens and that is why I wanted to go to the silent count. I think linemen usually prefer the audible count. I go into the huddle and see what the guys feel comfortable with and that is how I have always done it. I think I kind of put Scott in a tough situation there."
On the interception and if he thought the Bills suspected that throw was coming:
"No. I had the option to go left or right. We had two slants and flat and a slant to the left. After that play, it is really easy to say I should have gone left and by coverage, I really should have gone left. I have had success going that way and I looked left first to get the backers to hold. To be honest, I lost (London) Fletcher a little behind the referee. I was trying to look him off with my eyes. If I had to do it again, I would have gone that way or gone outside."
On the speed of the Bills defense and if there is something the young guys can learn:
"They played fast the whole game. I hate to say, 'yes,' because you can never take anyone lightly. You look at those two defensive ends, I have never once seen them not play hard. I consider all three damn good football players. Don't let size and records and all those things fool you, their defense plays hard and we knew that coming in. I sure hope we didn't take those guys lightly. I knew it would be difficult and it only takes one play or one player to disrupt a game and they have those types of players. I don't care who we play, we better strap it up and get ready because it is going to be difficult week in and week out."
On not finishing drives:
"If you are asking me personally, yes it is me. I consider it me and the lack of execution offensively. There were plays to be made. We didn't make them. Give Buffalo credit, but either we execute or we find somebody that can execute."
On how disappointing it was to get in the red zone and not get points at this stage of the season:
"I don't know if that is ever acceptable, regardless of where you are in the season. When you are at the halfway point and that happens, it is kind of a reality check after things were going your way for the most part. I think it puts things back into perspective on how good or not good we really are, myself included. I am as much to blame as anyone for the lack of production. We moved the ball great, but that will only get you so far. Whether it is the first game, the preseason, or the last game, good teams don't make those plays. If we want to be a good team, we can't make those plays."
CB Al Harris
Overall comments on the game:
"We shot ourselves in the foot all game. We allowed them to make plays. We just weren't taking care of our business at certain times. It hurts when you go out there and it was a game we should have won."
On the long touchdown pass:
"That's one play I'll have to go back and look at film on. I don't know what was going on. We are going to get that fixed so plays like that don't happen again."
DE Aaron Kampman
Overall comments on the game:
"It was tough. We had an opportunity to win this ballgame and we let it slip through our fingers. Defensively, we didn't create any takeaways. That's something we talked about a lot and had gotten some the last two weeks but didn't get any today. Obviously they got some and that's still the critical variable in football, regardless of what level you're playing whether it's pee wee on up. We've got to find a way as a defense to get the ball out and try to get more turnovers."
S Marquand Manuel
On the statistical dominance by the Packers:
"We come in and play a game like this but at the same time we still had a chance to win the game in the fourth quarter. We've just got to figure out as a unit what we've got to do to get over the hump."
On the turnovers:
"It was really tough to see us turn the ball over in the high reds. In the high reds, you've got to get points even if you kick field goals. We play as a team and regardless of what they did we still had to counter that. I think we did a great job of that for three and a half quarters, but we just didn't at the end."
On the Lee Evans touchdown pass:
"It was a whole miscommunication thing. I wasn't on the field, but it was one of those things where they made a play and we didn't execute. That was the biggest play they had all game."
Buffalo Bills Head Coach Dick Jauron
Opening Statement:
"(Green Bay) had scored 34 and 31 in their last two outings, and I told our guys all week that they are playing with great confidence, both their offense and defense coming off two wins. I tip my hat to our defense, and to our offense who struggled mightily. They hung in there and made the big play when we really needed it, at a critical time when we were backing up and hearing the boos. JP (Losman) came through, and Lee (Evans) of course came through and ran the route, and put it in the end zone for the winning margin. As we've said all along, in our game, turnovers usually spell the difference, and that was the case today for us. We didn't turn it over and we got some. The ball bounced our way a few times, and it just feels so good to win. I know you want to get up to that locker room, and I want to get back up there, so I'm not going to take a lot of questions. I'll answer a few if you've got them. "
On Brett Favre:
"No, I'm not. I've seen (Favre) play for 16 years, and stick it in tight spots like he did the touchdown on the other end, that was an unbelievable throw and catch. They have great confidence in his abilities and have great confidence in him as they absolutely should."
On the interception on the goal line:
"It was a different play, it was to the outside receiver as opposed to the inside receiver, but it's a quick throw. (Favre) has spent his career putting them right on the money. I haven't seen the replay, but it wasn't behind (the receiver). I think that Nate (Clements) got his hand in there and made a terrific play."
On special teams play:
"They did a terrific job really, punting the ball and covering it. In coverage we really did an outstanding job."
On the injuries to Willis McGahee and Josh Reed:
"Willis is a rib, and obviously it was bad enough and sore enough that he could not finish, there was no doubt about it. Josh had a kidney bruise, they're going to look long and hard at that one. We're just going to have to see how quickly either one of them can come back. Everybody else, I think we're ok."
On the effects of the win:
"It certainly made our locker room a whole lot better, it made everybody feel a whole lot better, it made our whole building feel a whole lot better. It gave our fans a little reprieve too after everything that they've been through. It's always better to win. Everything is easier, the corrections are easier, there are a lot of corrections and we just have to move forward and advance, and enjoy the victory because they are hard to get."
On the offense:
"Was I going to make changes? No. I think that's where we're going with this thing. Was I happy? No. We're going to get better, we'd like it to be tomorrow we would have liked for it to be today. We won, and that's what we care about, the victories are really hard to get. I do believe we're going to get better."
On Anthony Thomas:
"Anthony is a good player, he's got a big heart, he's a tough guy, and he likes to play."
Buffalo Bills QB JP Losman
On almost losing his patience before he threw the TD to Evans:
"Yeah, I think everybody was. We're in this process, which you don't like to be, but we're learning the offense and we still have some young guys. We're trying to find out what the limitations are. We're trying to find out what we can and cannot do. From that standpoint, it has been frustrating. We've had some tough times, but you have to keep your head up. You have to stay positive, believe in each other and trust one another. You have to focus on your job and keep this thing going, keep fighting and hanging in there and boom, we pop one like we did (today)."
On whether the boos bother him:
"No, it really doesn't at all. I feel confident and comfortable and able to deal with those type of things, as opposed to a year ago. I probably would've said the same thing, but it seems like this year I really do feel like it's just the way it goes. I'm at the (quarterback) position, and it's one of those teams where we were going through a little skid, a little lull, but you have to stay positive and pick yourself out of it."
On them being behind where they expected through eight games:
"Yeah, of course. I think everybody feels that way, but this isn't something you can put a time table on or something you can predict the future with. We just have to keep rolling with it, believe in each other and focus on yourself, start with yourself, point the finger right at yourself every time and move on from there."
On the defense and special teams:
"They did a great job, obviously, holding that offense to as many points as they had. The turnovers were something that we were focusing on offensively, but they were able to take care of their job. It was a team victory. What they were able to do today was something special and they probably won the game for us."
On the touchdown to Evans:
"We had two guys up on the safety and he chose Peerless (Price) and that left Lee (Evans) one on one and he won his one on one and beat the guy really bad. Once I dropped back, I knew it, so I was just praying we would hold up in protection and it took some time. It was a pump, an out and up, and the line did their job and Lee did his job and I did my job."
On not hooking up with Evans for a long pass until today:
"It's frustrating and I think when you go back and look at the film, today I was given that extra second to get that thing off and Lee has been winning his one on one match ups. It seems like it's a half a second to a second off every time. We probably should have had about six or seven of those that I can count right now off the top of my head. Whatever we had to do to get those things going - buying some time, getting the ball off a little quicker, whatever it takes, those are the things we'll have to do."
On Anthony Thomas:
"We're very comfortable with the A-Train as we call him. He goes right after it. He's a guy everyone is very comfortable with when he's in there. We just constantly remind him to hold onto the ball and by reminding him, I think about myself and how I need to hold onto the ball. He did a great job."
On building on a lead late in the game:
"I hope it does something. We're trying to get a spark, whatever it takes to get some smiles on our faces around here. We're all staying positive through this thing. When we came off this bye week that was our goal, because we had half a season left. It starts with this one. You'd like to think it will start something special, but we're going to have to work and make it happen. It's not just going to happen. It feels good right now, but we'll be ready to go next week."
On beating Favre and whether it gives him a rise:
"No, I don't think about that at all. That guy has accomplished so much in his career, there's no match from one little game from me. Especially when I look at it like, we have so many guys in this room that I'm so happy for, I'm not going to let that override my teammates right now. I'm very, very happy for our guys right now. That's where my head is at."
Buffalo Bills CB Nate Clements
On the interception:
"We were right on the goal line. I was manning up and he released inside and I played him and I looked late and the ball was coming. We were both playing for it and my teammate Ko Simpson made a play and ran to the ball and got the interception."
On anticipating the slant route:
"On the goal line you have to play on the inside or you give up the slant, which is the easiest throw. You have to make them throw the fade. I had inside leverage on man coverage and he still threw it. So I just made a play on it and Ko finished it."
On playing the play any different than any others you had today:
"You do not play everything the same. There are different situations throughout the course of the game. You have to play and you don't want to just give them the inside because it is the easiest throw. You have to play according to the situation."
On importance of forcing turnovers:
"It is just important for us to get the 'W'. It is the most important thing to get the win. Our defense practices hard every week, we prepare, we study and the last couple weeks thing were not going our way. The only thing that you can do is to continue to work even harder and that is what we have been doing and eventually hard work is always going to prevail. It showed up in the game. We got turnovers and we scored on defense and we had some three and outs."
On Farve and his turnovers today:
"Not only him, we feel that we can get turnovers on any quarterback. We know that he is the type of quarterback who is going to throw regardless. Regardless of an interception or a big play he is still going to throw it."
Buffalo Bills WR Lee Evans
On his touchdown reception:
"It was just an opportunity to try and get deep again. It was a double move. He bit and finally we were able to connect on a deep one."
On the number of opportunities for the deep ball this game:
"Even on the first one we had that we didn't connect on, we had the chance there and missed it. But the second came at a perfect time. We really needed to score, it put us ahead. We've been in those situations before and it was good. This time we finally made the play."
On the holding penalty:
"I wasn't getting discouraged. I didn't think it was a very good call. I talked to the official and he made his call but it worked out in the end and that's all I can say about it."
On pulling out the big plays at the end of the game:
"I think that's what we needed. It wasn't a matter of being in the right play, it was just executing and that's one thing we hadn't done was execute the plays when we had people in the right positions. So now that we have executed hopefully it will just carry on. It was good to see us make plays at the end of the game when it counted. It didn't really work out for us in the game early but in the end I think it shows a lot of maturing for us to make the plays at the end to win the game."
On the importance of the coaches being patient and not making changes:
"It's big, especially from the quarterback perspective because I've always said you won't be successful as an offense or as a team, in my opinion, if you don't have consistent quarterback play. Shuffling quarterbacks in and out, that's not consistent play so it's been good for them to be patient, to stick with one guy. Let us make the plays. It didn't happen earlier. It happened today. Hopefully we can make it happen down the road."
Buffalo Bills LB London Fletcher
On if defense thought they had to make a play since offense was not:
"For me I think and for the defense as a whole, you want to be in those types of games. We put an emphasis on not worrying about what happens on the other side of the ball, or on special teams. It's just really controlling what we can control. We knew if we didn't allow them to score, our offense would be able to do something. We also emphasized either scoring on defense or setting the offense up for a score. We were able to do that a couple of times today."
On why he thinks Green Bay passed the ball on the play on the one-yard line:
"They had success with it the previous time. It wasn't just one yard. Their run game had been doing pretty good, so I don't understand it, but that's their prerogative. I think a big play in that was the touchdown-saving tackle. That play I think Ko (Simpson) was the man who made the tackle to stop them from getting into the end zone. It gave us another opportunity to play football and Nate (Clements) made a great play and was able to tip the ball up and Ko intercepted it."
On his interception and touchdown:
"It was a formation that they ran a lot and it was a situation where they ran what we call a double formation. In those situations Brett (Favre) liked to throw a quick pass, and his favorite receiver was Donald Driver, which we saw throughout the course of the game. Even that the interception that Ko had, it was the same situation where he was going with Driver. On my interception, it was the same situation where he was going to Driver and it was really just me reading the quarterback and I was blessed and fortunate to be able to catch the football. I didn't have far to go so I can't take a lot of credit for the run or for the touchdown. It wasn't really far."
Buffalo Bills P Brian Moorman
On how much the team really depends on you to bail them out:
"I have never really thought of it that way to be honest with you. Honestly it is one of those things; really it is my job. I have to go out there and I have to punt well and hopefully flip the field when we are backed up, like on the three or the 10 or 12 and then back it off a little whenever we are on the other side and try to put them inside the 20. I felt like I had a pretty good feel for that today one way or the other."
On perfecting directional punts:
"I like it. It's one of those things where if you can get it to do that, then you do not put the ball in the hands of the returner regardless of what happens. Directional punting can be a weapon in some respects by putting them out of bounds so it does not give them a chance to return it."
On getting better at that kind of punting:
"I feel like I have always been okay at it and a lot of the time the weather will not permit it. In this stadium if the wind is blowing hard across, you cannot just drop it out there, so you really rely on your coverage and we are blessed to have the coverage unit that we have. Today it was an opportunity to take advantage of that and I look forward to keep doing that."
On keeping an eye on how they mark that:
"Yes, that is the only down fall of kicking to the corner like that is that you are putting it in the hands of the referee. Obviously, sometimes I agree and sometimes I disagree but, really it is his call and at the end of the day you have to live with it. You always want another yard and that's what I turned around and asked him today, 'Can I please have one more yard!' The bottom line is anything inside the 20 is great, because it lowers their offensive scoring and that's how I view it."
Buffalo Bills OL Jason Peters
On the team being confident:
"You just have got to believe in the guy next to you, and tell them that we're going to score. We're going to lead. We're going to drive the ball down and get seven points. We just kept telling each other that, and we ended up getting seven."
On playing left tackle:
"The guy is faster, I had (Gbaja-Biamila), and I think I did a good job on him."
On the communication of the line:
"JP called the play, and we were communicating before we even lined up. We were just checking what defense they had on the field, and communicated before we got up to the line."
Buffalo Bills CB Terrence McGee
On being shocked on Brett Favre's four turnovers:
"No, I feel that it is what will happen to everybody. I am just happy that it happened right now, when we needed them. I feel that he did his job and got his yards, but at the same time we got the turnovers when we needed them."
On opening kickoff return:
"Yes, the whole week Bobby April was saying 'we are not settling for anything less than a touchdown.' I mean the whole week every day, that is all he was saying and we were going out there with touchdown on our mind. We didn't get the touchdown, but we were able to set the offense up in good field position to score."
Buffalo Bills OL Terrance Pennington
On his first NFL start:
"It feels great going out there and doing warm-ups and looking around and thinking I'm going to get that first start, it's crazy. But just going out there and getting that first play and that first pop, after that I felt alright. It just felt great to get that first win, the first start. It felt great to get the first win basically. The running game started working out after a while and we kept going. So, I'm just happy to get the first win in my first start."
On being satisfied with the way that he played:
"I think I did some good things out there. Of course there are some things I need to work on, me being a rookie, being young. I'll just go in tomorrow and watch film and clean up. I think I did alright, but of course I could always do better. I'm my biggest critic of course. I'm just going to go in there and clean up whatever I can do to get ready for next week."
On going against Aaron Kampman:
"I mean Kampman is a great player. He got that sack on me. (On the sack) That was my fault technical-wise. So just like I said, I'll go in the film room and just watch and see what I messed up on and get it cleaned up for Indianapolis next week."
On his thoughts right before kickoff:
"I was just trying to stay under control and keep my composure and remember the snap count and everything because I knew the first feeling was going to be "wow." I was just trying to keep my excitement down."
Buffalo Bills WR Peerless Price
On fourth quarter play:
"In the fourth quarter we were able to string some plays together and thankfully it was enough to win the game. Because as an offense, I do not think we did enough early on to win the game. Our defense played great and kept us in the game."
On winning and feeling good:
"Exactly, it gets you up beat for the week and has you looking forward to the next game. Instead of letting it linger in your head and you are feeling down through out the week. It lifts the spirits and gives us some confidence. We have a good football team we are just young and mistake-prone right now and we have to eliminate that."
Buffalo Bills S Ko Simpson
On his interception:
"I was kind of surprised but Nate (Clements) made a good play on the ball. He set it up. He broke up the ball and I just had to get the tip. I just tried to get in the end zone and get as far as I could. I ran out of gas but it's a good win for the team."
On questioning Green Bay decision to pass on the play of his interception:
"You can say that but they tried to get it to their best player, Driver. He's a good player and they tried to get the ball to him. We just made a good play and Nate made a good breakup and I was there so I wasn't really surprised."
On if defense was nervous when the score was tied and offense wasn't scoring:
"All week, we knew as a defense we had to come out here and try to win this game. We were going to try and put it on our back. On offense, we were not moving the ball. We said, 'we have to make a play. Defense, we have to make a play, we have to get a turnover. We have to score.' That was our mindset the whole game and we came up with the plays."
Buffalo Bills LB Takeo Spikes
On the importance of turnovers:
"We knew coming into the game that there were (times) when we would have the opportunities to get turnovers. We didn't want to walk away saying, 'I wish I would have done this' or 'I wish I would have done that'. We felt like when the opportunity was presented, we would get it and that would be a momentum changer. That's something we were preaching all week. Low and behold, London (Fletcher) got the first one, and it was contagious after that."
On London Fletcher:
"I know it. I said, 'you're trying to go to Hawaii quick, and make it a unanimous decision.' It's his mental preparation and what he brings to the table each and every week, and it's good to see that it's paying off."
On being more comfortable since his return:
"I'm feeling good, like I said earlier in the week, this was my best week of preparation as far as mentally and more so than anything, physically. The hamstring really put a damper on everything these past five weeks, but I felt good today, was active, got my hands on a couple of balls out there. I'm just trying to get stronger each and every week."
On the importance of getting a win:
"The mental psyche part of it, when you come in and you do the right thing each and every day, each week you do what is asked of you and you do a little bit more. When you don't get the results that you want on Sunday, mentally it fatigues you. The only thing you have to hang your hat on is doing what you're supposed to do when you're supposed to do it and how often you're supposed to do it. When you get rewards like this on Sunday with a win, defensively on our side of the ball with four turnovers, it's just something that's contagious."
Buffalo Bills DT Larry Tripplett
On getting turnovers to offense :
"That is the key to the NFL is turnovers, whoever wins the turnover battle I am sure that 90% of the time they are going to win the game and that was our focus going in."
On winning:
"You do not understand it feels fantastic and we needed this win real bad and it feels great to finally get it. We were all eager to get a win. You do not understand how hungry this team was, because we have been battling, we just haven't got that win and we finally got it."
On one of the best games this season:
"It was a little crazy up until that fourth quarter. I have never really been part of something like that and it feels much better to come out on this end of it."
On Green Bay having great field position and the defense making key 3 and outs:
"That is always going to be our goal on defense, no matter where we are, no matter what position we are in, we are going to try to stop them."
On turnovers:
"Absolutely, that is the biggest part and one of the biggest things that we practice as a defense is getting turnovers. This bye week we spent a lot of time working on trying to get interceptions, fumble recoveries and we got them today."
On Brett not giving the ball up a lot this season and London's interception:
"It is huge. Turnovers like that, especially the points on defense, really change the whole scheme of the game. That is where our focus in on defense - to make that happen."
Buffalo Bills OL Chris Villarrial
On what the outlook was today and how it worked out:
"We have to mature. We have to learn how to win. Today, we might have taken a step towards that. It feels good. We know we had a lot of young guys in there today. It is only going to better this franchise, this team. Yeah, it felt really good to see these young guys with the adversity that we were having. We weren't moving the ball, we were getting penalties - they could have packed it in, but they didn't. But they just kept going out there battling and it feels good it feels real good (laughing)"
On the progress the Bills made with the changes on the line:
We took a big step. Early on, we were kind of out of sync. We just weren't feeling each other. The more we got things going, the more we came together. We started knocking them off the ball in the second half. We started controlling the line of scrimmage instead of letting them doing it. The young guys got a good taste of that. It takes four quarters to win a ball game and you can't take a play off here and there, you have to fight in the NFL to get a victory. They learned that today and like I've said, we're only going to get better.
