Packers Hall Of Fame Scout Patch Program
The scout patch program is only for prescheduled groups of 20 or more.
Boy And Girl Scout Troops Can Earn Exclusive Patch By Completing Educational TourThe Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame now offers a program for Boy and Girl Scout groups that awards them an exclusive Packers helmet patch that can be added to their uniform after successful completion of a tour.
Scouts have two options for the program, completing an educational guidebook or following a Packers-themed scavenger hunt.
The guidebook, "What's Your Game Plan for becoming a Pro?" is Hall of Fame staff's successful educational curriculum that is popular with school groups. A key component of the guidebook builds on teamwork lessons throughout Packers history. Teambuilding is the newest piece of the Hall's educational curriculum.
The scavenger hunt contains 13 questions based on characteristics of scouting, such as trustworthiness, loyalty, helpfulness and kindness. A characteristic is defined, linked to the Packers by a key moment or figure, and then a mission is given to identify the moment or figure in a specific area of the Hall.
After completing the tour and the guidebook or scavenger hunt, scouts are awarded patches upon their departure. Visits often include a Stadium Tour as well.
The program is focused on Boy and Girl Scout troops, but also can be used by Cub Scout packs. Scout groups from Wisconsin and surrounding states are among the groups that visit the Packers Hall of Fame.
