Packers.com presents 'Prospect Primer,' a video look at an assortment of draft-eligible players who attended the scouting combine in Indianapolis. Missouri's Michael Sam boosted his sack total from 4 1/2 in 2012 to 11 1/2 in 2013, and his tackles for loss from seven to 19, in earning co-defensive player of the year honors in the SEC. Sam announced in the weeks leading up to the scouting combine that he's gay, which will make him the first openly gay player in the NFL. Draft status has been unpredictable since the announcement, with mediocre testing results at the combine not helping in that respect.
