  • Tue., Jun. 11, 2013 11:30AM - 1:00PM CDT Organized Team Activities (OTAs) The Packers announced details on the remainder of their offseason schedule, including the fact that five of the team’s offseason practices will be open to the public, weather permitting.

    The open practices will be three organized team activities (OTAs) and two mandatory minicamp workouts. The open OTA practices are slated for three Tuesdays — May 21, May 28 and June 11 — and will begin at 11:30 a.m. CT. The two mandatory minicamp practices are scheduled for June 4 and 5 with a start time TBA.

    Due to ongoing preparations on Ray Nitschke Field for training camp, the OTA and minicamp workouts will be held on Clarke Hinkle Field this year. Viewing of the open practices will be standing-room only along the Oneida Street side of Hinkle Field.

  • Tue., Jul. 23, 2013 11:30AM - 5:00PM CDT Ask Vic Day

    "Ask Vic Day" will include a tour of Lambeau Field, a Packers Hall of Fame visit, lunch, an “Ask Vic Live,” and a few other surprises along the way. The event will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at Lambeau Field. Registration will begin at 10 a.m. with an 11:30 a.m. lunch. Door prizes will be awarded during the reception.

    Cost per person is $30 (tax included).

    The Green Bay Packers 2013 Annual Meeting of Shareholders will be held Wednesday, July 24, at 11 a.m., at Lambeau Field. The meeting will take place rain or shine.

  • Sat., Jul. 27, 2013 6:30PM - 11:45PM CDT 5K Run at Lambeau Field The computer-timed run is highlighted by a neighborhood route that ultimately takes participants into Lambeau Field and around the famed gridiron. The event has a special finish line – the Packers’ ‘G’ painted on turf located in the parking lot.
  • Sat., Aug. 03, 2013 5:30PM - 9:30PM CDT Packers Family Night

    The Green Bay Packers announced today that ‘Packers Family Night, presented by Bellin Health,’ will take place Saturday evening, Aug. 3. The event will benefit the Wendy’s Wonderful Kids foster care adoption program, a signature program of the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.

Jones started 28 straight games over his final two seasons after coming back from a broken foot that cost him his 2010 season. Jones recorded 19 tackles for loss as a senior last year, including 6.5 sacks, and used strong Senior Bowl and combine workouts to be projected as a first-round pick, most likely as a defensive end in a 4-3 scheme.

Racked up 14.5 sacks and 31.5 tackles for loss over his final two seasons. Also showed ability to defend the pass, with 17 pass break-ups and three interceptions over the 2011-12 seasons. A first-team all-Big East selection, Moore played in both the East-West Shrine Game and the Senior Bowl. Was born in African country of Liberia and raised in Connecticut before moving to North Carolina in high school.

Cincinnati's Kenbrell Thompkins caught 10 fewer passes in 2012 than in 2011, but improved his yards per catch by 30 percent (12.2 to 15.9). A junior college player who was originally headed to Tennessee, ended up not going there after Lane Kiffin left. Wound up at Cincinnati playing for head coach Butch Jones, who was the college coach of Thompkins' cousin, Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown, at Central Michigan.

Penn State's Michael Mauti has sustained three ACL tears in his knees over the past five years. His last two college seasons both ended early due to ACL injuries. Upon concluding his college career with another knee injury, sent letters to all 32 NFL GMs expressing his love and dedication to the game.

Utah's Joe Kruger started just 14 games as a college player, but played in 37 contests over his three seasons. Recorded six sacks last season as a junior. An early entry in this draft, Kruger is following the same timeline as his older brother, Paul, the former Baltimore Ravens linebacker who just won a Super Bowl ring and signed a free-agent contract with the Cleveland Browns.

In 2011 as a junior, LB Mike Taylor totaled 150 tackles, most in the Big Ten, and added 123 in 2012 as a senior. Finished his career with 38.5 tackles for loss, including seven sacks. A native of Ashwaubenon, a suburb of Green Bay, Taylor has been recovering from sports hernia surgery and did not work out for scouts at the combine or at Wisconsin's pro day. His only previous major injury was a season-ending knee injury as a redshirt freshman in 2009.

Considered the heart and soul of Ohio State's defense as a two-time captain, Simon sustained a shoulder injury during Senior Bowl practices that required surgery and forced him to delay his workouts for scouts.

An early entry in this draft, Wort couldn't finish his pro day workout in front of scouts in March because he pulled his hamstring running the 40-yard dash.

Originally came to the United States as a foreign exchange student from Germany and played two seasons of high school football, becoming a top college recruit.
