Coats for Kids collect record 592 coats, $14,621 at Sunday's game

The annual Coats for Kids collection garnered 592 coats and $14,621 in cash donations at Sunday’s Green Bay Packers-Washington Redskins game.

Both totals are records for the collection at Lambeau Field.

The Salvation Army and several area cleaners – Lindeman’s Cleaning, Royal Cleaners and Martinizing Dry Cleaning Service – are again leading the seasonal effort to collect coats. Coats can still be dropped off at the participating cleaners, Papa Murphy’s locations, Ultimart Convenience Stores and Fox Communities Credit Union branches.
