Packers wide receivers coach Edgar Bennett, along with many members of the Packers family, will return to the lanes at Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley, Wednesday, June 13, for the eighth Edgar Bennett Celebrity Bowl-A-Thon, presented by Nestlé.

Proceeds from the event will benefit The Angel Fund for Children with Cancer Inc., an organization dedicated to giving financial and social support to families residing in Northeast Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan whose children are receiving treatment for cancer or for bone marrow failure.

Registration for the evening begins at 6 p.m., with the bowling event and silent auction to start at 6:30. The silent auction will feature autographed Packers and NFL memorabilia.

Area businesses and individuals are encouraged to support the effort. Lane sponsorships are available as a way to join the fun-filled evening and bowl with a member of the Green Bay Packers family.

Lane sponsorships: Lane sponsorships are available for $1,000 and will include a team of four bowlers per lane, with each team to be joined by one Packers celebrity. All participants will receive a team photo, event shirt, their company sign displayed above their lane, plus access to the Nestlé Family Fun Night Buffet.

For more information about sponsorships and to sign up, please contact the Packers’ community outreach department at 920/569-7500.

The Angel Fund, formed in 2003, assists families of children from Northeast Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan that have been diagnosed with cancer or bone marrow failure.

The primary goal of the Angel Fund is to connect families to various community and national resources, to offer social support to all families and to provide financial support to qualified families. The Angel Fund was a heartfelt idea from a local childhood cancer specialist whose dream is to create a new local resource for children and families facing cancer or bone marrow failure in our community. He sees daily the emotional and financial strain that these families face. By creating a fund that can help tackle some of these strains, the families would have less distractions and more energy to focus on their children.
