Fifth annual Packers Hall of Fame art contest now accepting entries

Posted Oct 29, 2013

Contest open to school-aged children in grades K-12. Celebrates National Youth Art Month

The Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame is now accepting entries for its fifth annual art contest to celebrate Youth Art Month in March. The contest is open to school-aged children grades K-12.

The theme, ‘Pick Your Packer’ (present player or past great player), will be judged on a basis of creativity, originality and overall impression.

Artwork will be judged in four different grade levels: K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12. There will be one winner per age group and the artwork will be judged by students from St. Norbert College and art instructor Father Jim Neilson. As the Hall of Fame will be closing Nov. 18 for the Lambeau Field Atrium renovation project, the winners’ artwork this year will be highlighted in the Atrium during the month of March. The winners will also each receive a $100 gift card to the Packers Pro Shop.

The registration period will continue until Jan. 31, 2014. All entries must be accompanied with entry form, signed by the artist and the parent, guardian or teacher attesting to the originality of the work and verifying the artist’s grade as of Jan. 31, 2014. Winners will be notified by Feb. 17, 2014. Registration for the contest and full details are available at packers.com/lambeau-field/hall-of-fame/art-contest.html.

The Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays through Nov 17.
