Leading up to the Green Bay Packers game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, Nov. 10, featured Packers alumni Mark Chmura and Chester Marcol will be signing autographs and visiting with fans in the Packers Pro Shop on Saturday, Nov. 9, from 2:30 to 4 p.m.
The Tundra Tailgate Zone will also feature Chmura on gameday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., where he will be visiting with fans and signing autographs. More information on the Tundra Tailgate Zone can be found online at www.packers.com/gameday/tundra-tailgate-zone.html.
Also on Sunday, Marcol will be visiting with fans and signing autographs during that same time in the Legends Club on the Associated Bank Club Level, an area accessible to game attendees with suite or club seat tickets, as a guest of the ‘Alumni Meet and Greet.’
Chmura, picked in the sixth round of the 1992 draft, played eight seasons for the Packers. The elite tight end was a contributor in both Super Bowl XXXI, where he scored the final points with a 2-point conversion catch, and Super Bowl XXXII, when he finished with 4 catches for 43 yards and a touchdown. He finished his career with 188 receptions for 2,253 yards and 17 touchdowns. Chmura was elected to three Pro Bowls, in 1995, 1997 and 1998, and was enshrined in the Packers Hall of Fame in 2010.
Marcol, selected in the second round of the 1972 draft, scored 128 points in his rookie year, leading the league in scoring, and was named NFC Rookie of the Year and All-Pro. The two-time NFL scoring champion was, at the time, only one of three players in NFL history to score 300 points or more over his first three seasons. Marcol was selected to the Pro Bowl in 1973 and 1975 and was inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame in 1987.
Both former Packers players will be introduced on Lambeau Field during pregame festivities.
