Posted Nov 28, 2011

Wide receiver James Jones is the Packers Hall of Fame’s Featured Player of the Week for Week 12. In Thursday’s Thanksgiving Day 27-15 victory over the Detroit Lions, Jones had three receptions, including a 65-yard touchdown in the third quarter.

Jones has five touchdowns and registered 24 receptions for 450 yards in the 2011 season.

Each week, a game-used football will be placed on display to be viewed by visitors to the Hall and at the end of the week will be awarded randomly to a Hall of Fame visitor who signed up for the drawing.

Also in the exhibit will be the featured player’s jersey, as well as potentially other items such as a face mask, shoes, gloves and other equipment.

The exhibit opened Sept. 12 and will continue through the season. Hall of Fame admission is required to see the exhibit, and visitors are able to fill out a drawing form for a chance to win the ball.
