Week 3, Aug. 23
vs. Seattle, 7 p.m. CT

Week 4, Aug. 29-30

Specific dates and times to be announced

The Packers open the preseason against the Arizona Cardinals at Lambeau Field after last hosting the Cardinals during the preseason in 2011. This contest will be the 23rd all-time preseason meeting between the two franchises and fourth since the Cardinals moved to Arizona prior to the 1988 season. The teams’ first ever preseason meeting featured the Packers against the Chicago Cardinals on Aug. 16, 1950.

In Week 2 of the preseason, Green Bay will travel to St. Louis to face the Rams. The last time the Packers visited St. Louis for a preseason game, it was to face the St. Louis Cardinals prior to the 1983 season. The game will mark the first preseason meeting between these two franchises since the Rams moved to St. Louis prior to the 1995 season. The last time the two clubs met in the preseason, the Packers faced the Los Angeles Rams in Madison, Wis., on Aug. 6, 1994, at Camp Randall Stadium.

CBS will broadcast the third preseason contest against the Seattle Seahawks to a national audience. This will mark the fifth preseason meeting between the two teams and the fourth in the last 10 years. It will be the Seahawks’ first preseason trip to Lambeau Field since 2007. Over the past 21 preseasons, the Packers have appeared on national TV at least once in 20 of those years.

The preseason concludes with a road contest against the Kansas City Chiefs, the fourth straight year the teams will have met in the preseason finale and the second time at Arrowhead Stadium.

Except for the Seattle game, the exact dates and times for the remaining three Packers’ preseason contests are to be determined. Those games will be aired on Green Bay’s WGBA-TV (Ch. 26), in conjunction with Milwaukee’s WTMJ-TV, over a 13-station network throughout the state of Wisconsin, Northeastern Minnesota, Upper Michigan, Iowa, Nebraska and Hawaii.

In addition to WGBA-TV and WTMJ-TV, the games are televised over WKOW/ABC, Madison, Wis.; WAOW/ABC, Wausau/Rhinelander, Wis.; WXOW/ABC, La Crosse, Wis.; WQOW/ABC, Eau Claire, Wis.; WLUC/NBC, Escanaba/Marquette, Mich.; KQDS-TV/FOX, Duluth, Minn.; KLJB-TV/FOX and KGCW/CW, Davenport, Iowa, (Quad Cities); KCWI-TV/CW, Des Moines, Iowa; KMTV-TV/CBS, Omaha, Neb.; and KFVE-TV, Honolulu, Hawaii.

The league is expected to release the regular-season schedule later this month.
