Packers Hall of Fame kicks off annual Tundra Tales reading program

Registration for at-home reading program ends Jan. 24

The Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame this week kicks off the fourth annual “Tundra Tales” at-home reading program for students in grades 4K through 5, which will run from Jan. 27 to March 30. The registration deadline is Friday, Jan. 24.

The “Tundra Tales” program aims to develop lifelong reading habits by encouraging children to read at home. Students must read or be read to for 60 minutes every week, outside of school, for eight weeks (a total of 480 minutes).

Students who achieve the goal will earn one child and one adult ticket for a Lambeau Field stadium tour.

Tracking sheets are available on and must be filled out and signed by parents to show completion of the required minutes. The deadline to turn in tracking sheets to teachers is March 30.

Last year more than 5,000 students from across the state participated in the at-home reading program. Homeschoolers have also participated in the program, and are encouraged to continue doing so.
