Posted Oct 13, 2010

The Green Bay Packers have signed LB Robert Francois to the active roster from the practice squad, placed S Derrick Martin on injured reserve, signed S Michael Greco and LB Mike Rivera to the practice squad, and released LB Johnny Williams from the practice squad. The transactions were announced Wednesday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.

Francois entered the NFL as a non-drafted free agent with the Minnesota Vikings in May 2009. He will wear No. 49.

Martin sustained a knee injury in last Sunday’s game at Washington. He played in all five games this season.
