Packers sign LB So'oto to practice squad

The Green Bay Packers signed LB Vic So'oto to the practice squad. The transaction was announced Thursday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.
 
So’oto (So-OH-toe), a 6-foot-3, 263-pound second-year player out of Brigham Young, played in one game for the Packers this season and also appeared in four contests for the Oakland Raiders. He entered the league with Green Bay as a non-drafted free agent on July 28, 2011, and played in seven games for the Packers as a rookie last season. So’oto will wear No. 97.
