The Green Bay Packers have signed QB Matt Flynn and placed QB Seneca Wallace on injured reserve. The transactions were announced Tuesday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.

Flynn, a 6-foot-2, 225-pound sixth-year player out of Louisiana State, was drafted by the Packers in the seventh round (209th overall) of the 2008 NFL Draft and played four seasons (2008-11) in Green Bay. During his time with the Packers, he completed 82 of 132 passes (62.1 percent) for 1,015 yards and nine TDs with five INTs for a 92.8 passer rating. Flynn played for Seattle in 2012 and spent time with Oakland and Buffalo this season. He will wear No. 10 for the Packers and WR Chris Harper will now wear No. 13.

Wallace played in two games for the Packers this season with one start and completed 16 of 24 passes for 139 yards with an interception.
