Key stat: Had 4 ½ sacks in his final collegiate game, as Texas beat Oregon State in the Alamo Bowl. Had posted two sacks in a game just three times in his career prior to that.

Notable: A two-time, first-team all-Big 12 Conference selection, Okafor first broke into Texas’ starting lineup at defensive tackle as a sophomore before starting 25 games over his final two seasons at defensive end.
