Notable: A junior college player who was originally headed to Tennessee, ended up not going there after Lane Kiffin left. Wound up at Cincinnati playing for head coach Butch Jones, who was the college coach of Thompkins’ cousin, Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown, at Central Michigan.
