SHIELDS INTERCEPTS DALTON

In the first quarter, CB Sam Shields undercut an out route by Bengals WR A.J. MATTHEWS STRIPS BALL, JENNINGS TAKES FUMBLE TO THE HOUSE

On third-and-1 early in the second quarter, Bengals RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis was grabbed from behind by LB Clay Matthews, stripping the ball. The fumble was recovered by S M.D. Jennings, who got up and raced 24 yards for a TD, cutting the Packers’ deficit to 14-10.

FRANKLIN BREAKS OFF 51-YARD RUN

Filling in for the injured James Starks, rookie RB Johnathan Franklin took a third-quarter handoff and dodged tacklers on his way to a 51-yard run, setting up a Packers TD three plays later.
