Lambeau Field Atrium to host 15th Annual Spooktacular Oct. 7

Posted Sep 11, 2017

Coats for Kids donations to be collected at event

The Green Bay Packers will again host the popular Halloween-themed event Spooktacular this October.

Spooktacular, free to the public, is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 7, in the Lambeau Field Atrium. Accessed through the Miller Lite Gate, Oneida Nation Gate or American Family Insurance Gate on the east side of the Atrium, it will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Spooktacular will feature interactive entertainment including music, juggling performances, family fun challenges and balloon animals. Children also will have the opportunity to have their faces painted, play fall-themed games and put their artistic skills to work at Halloween-themed craft stations.

Those who attend the event are also encouraged to bring new or gently-used winter coats to Lambeau to donate to the Coats for Kids program.

In addition, the Center for Childhood Safety will be in attendance with information on safe trick or treating and Halloween scenes will be abundant for photo opportunities.

“We are looking forward to the annual Spooktacular event for the 15th year,” said Cathy Dworak, Packers director of community outreach and player/alumni relations. “We always enjoy the opportunity to welcome the community to Lambeau Field, and we are excited to celebrate the coming of fall and Halloween along with our fans and guests.”

‘Spooktacular’ is one in a series of community events held each year as part of Green Bay Packers Give Back, the Packers’ all-encompassing community outreach initiative. Combined with other Green Bay Packers charity endeavors, the awards contribute to a comprehensive Packers charity impact that was in excess of $8 million last year.
