Presentation to focus on the challenges of a family business

The Green Bay Packers Mentor-Protégé Program is set to host its next training camp session Wednesday, May 23, at 8:30 a.m. in the Legends Club on the fourth floor of the Lambeau Field Atrium.

The session will feature a presentation focusing on the challenges of working in a family business from Michael Troyer, president of Strategic Management Associates. He will discuss the boundaries between family and business, how to manage communication and decision-making in the family business environment and suggest options for problem solving.

Attendees may enter at the American Family Insurance Gate and proceed to the fourth floor. Following the presentation, the event will allow for question-and-answer opportunities, as well as time for networking and informal discussion.

To register, please contact Anna Steinfest at aff@affresearch.com or 920-217-6547, or RSVP at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-family-business-what-comes-first-the-family-or-the-business-tickets-41576595717.

The Packers Mentor-Protégé Program is now in its eighth session, but those who are interested in the program and may apply in the future are encouraged to attend the event. To learn more about the program, please visit packers.com/mentorprotege.

The Packers Mentor-Protégé Program was established to pair emerging companies in northeastern Wisconsin with established, knowledgeable, and committed companies that can provide exposure, training, resources and experience. The program places an emphasis on minority- or woman-owned small businesses, as well as veteran-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned and disabled persons-owned companies, but other companies are also considered. The program aims to foster relationships between area companies and business professionals in order to spark economic development and job creation. The Packers work with AFF Research, LLC, to administer the program.
