Packers waive TE Martellus Bennett

Bennett started seven games for Green Bay in 2017


The Green Bay Packers have waived TE Martellus Bennett. The transaction was announced Wednesday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.

Bennett signed with the Packers as an unrestricted free agent this offseason and started all seven games he played in, recording 24 receptions for 233 yards (9.7 avg.).
