Packers sign LB Derrick Mathews to the practice squad

Mathews spent the first 10 weeks of this season on the practice squad


The Green Bay Packers signed LB Derrick Mathews to the practice squad. The transaction was announced Monday by Ted Thompson, Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations.

Mathews joined the Packers for the 2016 training camp and spent part of last season and the first 10 weeks of this season on Green Bay’s practice squad before being released on Saturday.
