GREEN BAY PACKERS' MOSLEY AND WATSON SEE ACTION IN NFL EUROPE'S OPENING WEEKEND

Two members of the Green Bay Packers took to the field this past weekend when NFL Europe kicked off its 1999 season.
Running back Edwin Watson, who started for the newest member of NFL Europe, the Berlin Thunder, carried the ball 18 times for 62 yards including a 3-yard touchdown in the Thunder's 21-20 loss to Frankfurt Galaxy. Watson's 62 yards was the second-highest total of rushing yards in the league's opening weekend.
Cornerback Denorse Mosley started at cornerback in the Scottish Claymores 21-20 win over the defending World Bowl champion, Rhein Fire. He tallied 1 tackle and 1 pass defense.
Quarterback Ronnie McAda, playing for the Frankfurt Galaxy, did see action in the Galaxy's 21-20 win over Berlin.
Looking ahead to Week 2: On Saturday, April 24, the Berlin Thunder will entertain the home crowd for the first time this season when they face the Scottish Claymores. The Frankfurt Galaxy will travel to the Netherlands to take on the Amsterdam Admirals.
