The Green Bay Packers have signed rookie offensive tackle Scott Curry of Montana, a sixth-round selection in this year's NFL draft, to a multiyear contract, Executive Vice President/General Manager Ron Wolf announced today.
The 6-5, 300-pound Curry was a three-year starter at left tackle, playing a key role as Montana led the nation in passing in 1996 with an average of 339.6 yards per game, and again in 1997, when his team averaged more than 400 yards total offense per game.

Earlier, at Valier, Mont., High School, he earned 11 athletic letters - four each in football and basketball and three in track. He also was an all-state selection in football as a senior.

Curry is the seventh of the Packers' twelve 1999 draft selections to be signed.
