The Green Bay Packers have placed second-year punter Will Brice, linebacker Kevin McCullar, and placekicker Jeff Sauve, both first-year players, on waivers, Executive Vice President/General Manager Ron Wolf announced today.

Brice, a left-footed specialist from the University of Virginia, had been signed as a free agent March 25, 1999. He originally had been signed by St. Louis as a free agent in 1997 and served as the Rams' punter for six games that season. He later handled punting duties for the Amsterdam Admirals of the NFL Europe League in 1998.

McCullar, a two-year starter and three-time letter winner at Texas Tech, had been signed as an undrafted free agent April 23, 1999.

Sauve, out of Clemson, had been signed as a free agent July 6, 1999, after finishing a season in the NFL Europe League for the Rhein Fire, making 6 of 12 field goal attempts. He previously had two separate stints in the Washington Redskins' training camp in 1998 before his final release on August 25.
