SHERMAN, STAFF TO HOLD CLINIC FOR 800 HIGH SCHOOL COACHES SATURDAY

Green Bay Packers Head Coach Mike Sherman and his staff will hold a clinic for more than 800 Wisconsin, Minnesota and Upper Michigan high school football coaches on Saturday.
Scheduled to become an annual event, it will be conducted in the Don Hutson Center and feature the entire Packers coaching and strength/conditioning staff.
It will begin at 8:15 a.m. with opening remarks by Head Coach Mike Sherman, who originated the project, and be followed by segments on offensive line play by offensive line coach Larry Beightol and secondary play by defensive backfield coach Bob Slowik of the Packers coaching staff.
After a break, it will continue with sessions on running back drills, by running backs coach Kippy Brown, defensive line play by defensive line coach Jethro Franklin and pass rush by defensive assistant Billy Davis.
Subsequent morning segments will include lectures on linebacker drills by linebackers coach Bo Pelini, wide receiver play by Ray Sherman, tight end drills by tight ends coach Jeff Jagodzinski and man-to-man technique by assistant secondary coach Lionel Washington.
Following lunch in the Lambeau Field concourse, a visit to the Packer Hall of Fame and individual photos in Lambeau Field, Frank Novak will launch the afternoon program with a segment on special teams play. Offensive Coordinator Tom Rossley will address quarterback fundamentals and Defensive Coordinator Ed Donatell will discuss 8-man front football.
Barry Rubin, the Packers' strength and conditioning coach, will deliver the concluding lecture, to be followed by closing remarks from the head coach.
