| PACKERS TO TEAM WITH UNITED WAY IN 'HOMETOWN HUDDLE' ON TUESDAY
posted 10/16/00
The players, including Donald Driver, Rob Davis and Danny Wuerffel, will appear at Green Bay's Fort Howard and Jefferson elementary schools at 9:45 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., respectively. Students will be instructed by the players on the value of staying in school and making good life choices, and school supplies will be given to each school to distribute to all of the children. The Packers' efforts are one of several projects being held in NFL cities throughout the country. In last year's Hometown Huddle, more than 300 NFL players participated in activities with more than 3,000 United Way agency recipients. |
