QB LEMON, DTs LOCKHART AND WAASDORP FAIL PACKERS PHYSICAL EXAMS

The Green Bay Packers did not execute contracts with three free agents -- quarterback Cleo Lemon of Arkansas State and defensive tackles Thabiti Lockhart of Fresno State and Jacob Waasdorp of California -- because they failed their physical examinations for the team's second offseason minicamp this morning, Director of Player Finance Andrew Brandt announced.
The players previously had agreed to terms but had not been signed to Green Bay contracts.
In another transaction, safety Warner Herndon of Morgan State was placed on waivers.
