Running back Herbert Goodman carried the ball a season-high 26 times for 95 yards in the Scottish Claymores' 17-7 win over the Rhein Fire last weekend. The Florida native added four receptions for 24 yards in the second consecutive Claymore victory and currently ranks third in NFLEL rushing with 451 yards on 111 carries. Cornerback Hurley Tarver started for the Scottish Claymores and posted four tackles and a pass defensed against Rhein.
Linebacker Paris Lenon started for the Amsterdam Admirals and registered three tackles and a special teams stop in the 21-19 loss against the Frankfurt Galaxy.
Offensive lineman Tim Stuber (F.C. Barcelona) started this past weekend in a 24-17 loss to Berlin, the third straight win for the Thunder and running back Joey Dozier (Frankfurt) saw action in the 21-19 win against Amsterdam, the team's second straight victory. Offensive lineman Ed Kehl saw action with the Rhein Fire in a 17-7 loss to the Scottish Claymores.
Defensive tackle John Gilmore (Amsterdam) remains on injured reserve due to a hand injury.

CHAMPIONSHIP RACE
One game separates the Rhein Fire (4-2) and the World Bowl champion Berlin Thunder (3-3) in the standings. Not only are the Thunder hoping to stretch their winning streak to four games, but they know that a victory by more than four points would give them a head-to-head tiebreaker edge over the team that will host this year's championship game. The Thunder have won three straight games after a 24-17 victory against Barcelona last week after opening the season with three losses. The Fire's four-game winning streak came to a halt with a 17-7 loss at Scotland.
The Frankfurt Galaxy is 5-1 for the first time in franchise history, while F.C. Barcelona are 1-5 for their first time. The Galaxy are looking to record their first winning season in three years and qualify for their fifth World Bowl appearance.
TELEVISION COVERAGE
DirecTV will broadcast two games per weekend, FOX Sports Net will televise a "Game of the Week" all season and FOX will broadcast a "Game of the Week" each week during Weeks 6-8, followed by World Bowl X on June 22. Current and former NFL players will be in the broadcast booth throughout the season.
