The Green Bay Packers have re-signed guard-tackle Pete Campion to the team's practice squad, GM/Head Coach Mike Sherman announced Tuesday.

The 6-4, 302-pound Campion, a three-year starter at right tackle for North Dakota State, was a seventh-round selection of the Carolina Panthers in the 2002 draft, the 213th player chosen. Placed on injured reserve Aug. 8, he was waived Aug. 13 following an injury settlement.

Signed to the St. Louis Rams' 53-man active roster as a free agent Oct. 16, he was inactive for the Rams' Oct. 20 game against Seattle. Waived Oct. 21, he was signed to the Rams' practice squad Oct. 23 and waived Nov. 1.

Campion, subsequently signed to the Packers' practice squad the first time on Nov. 27, was waived Dec. 2.

A Little All-America selection as a senior, Campion was the only lineman selected by Carolina in the '02 draft. He also was named the outstanding offensive lineman in the Cactus Bowl, a college all-star game that features players from Divisions II and III, as well as the top NAIA performers.

Campion has been assigned jersey number 67
