Packers Waive QB Jose Fuentes, TE Matt Huebner

The Green Bay Packers have placed quarterback Jose Fuentes and tight end Matt Huebner on waivers, GM/Head Coach Mike Sherman announced Tuesday.
Both players were signed as undrafted free agents on May 2, prior to last week's mini-camp, the 6-3, 224-pound Fuentes after a three-year career as a starting quarterback at Utah State. Huebner, a 6-4, 274-pound native of Rhinelander, Wis., had been St. Cloud State's No. 2 receiver as a senior in 2002 with 46 receptions for 641 yards and 6 touchdowns. |
