The Green Bay Packers, through Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer John Jones, today expressed their deep appreciation to the Brown County Board and county officials for reaching a 16-year agreement enabling the team to continue to use the Ray Nitschke Practice Field as an integral part of the team's football operations, including its training camp tradition.

"Nitschke Field has been a significant staple of Packers football and training camp," Jones said. "We are grateful to Brown County Executive Carol Kelso, Board Chairman Ken Simons, the County Education and Recreation Committee, chaired by Ron Antonneau, and the County Board for helping the Packers to commemorate one of the greatest players in the organization's distinguished history. This is a win for the fans, for the community and for the Packers. We appreciate working together.

HOF Statue Looking For New Home

One of the most recognizable and most photographed Packer objects in the country is up for sale.

The 22-foot tall statue of the wide receiver, currently outside of the former Packer Hall of Fame, stands on top of an 11-foot long football, and is looking for a new home.

The statue, made of sculptured concrete with a tough acrylic finish, was recently refurbished by the Packer Hall of Fame, which has an investment in the statue of more than $38,000. The Hall of Fame is looking to recoup that investment and is now accepting bids from interested parties.

The successful bidder will be determined by the Board of Directors of the Green Bay Packer Hall of Fame, Incorporated. The Board will consider the amount of the bid for the statue, intent, and location of use and the agreement to become a corporate sponsor of the Green Bay Packer Hall of Fame.

The "Receiver" was unveiled June 8, 1985 in recognition of the professional forward pass - an element ..

It's Graduation Time For Many NFL Players

Graduation time is here, and once again, NFL players are earning their diplomas.

Many of the players who earned their college degrees this spring did so through the Continuing Education Program of the NFL Player Development Department, which is headed by NFL Vice President of Player and Employee Development and Pro Football Hall of Famer Mike Haynes

One of the 2003 NFL graduates is Green Bay Packers running back Ahman Green, who received his diploma from the University of Nebraska on May 12. Green, a two-time NFL All-Star who eclipsed the 1,000-yard rushing mark for the third consecutive season in 2002, fulfilled a promise he made to his parents and himself when he earned his degree in geography.

"A lot of guys make it to the NFL and say, 'OK, I'm successful. I don't have to get my degree,'" says Green. "Now I can say I'm successful at my sport but I've also got a degree to fall back on."

The 6-5, 325-pound Lee, nicknamed "Big Griz" for the growl he emits at the line of scrimmage, is the first of Green Bay's nine draft choices to be signed.
World Bowl Race Explained

The race for places in World Bowl XI at Hampden Park, Glasgow, on June 14 could go right down to the final game of Week 10.

With one week remaining, one team (Frankfurt Galaxy) has clinched a place in the championship game and three others remain in the hunt for the second berth. Amazingly, none of the three chasing teams truly controls its own destiny. All three teams will need to rely on other results going their way even if they win their final game.

Here is a final reminder of the NFL Europe League's tiebreaker system.

NFLEL Tiebreaker System

If two or more clubs finish with identical won-lost-tied percentage, the following steps will be taken until a winner is determined:
1. Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games among the tied clubs).
2. Best points differential in games between tied teams
