posted 10/16/2003

Lambeau Field, a venue in which Packers players normally rumble across the gridiron, will offer a different view Friday, Nov. 7, as members of the Green and Gold will strut down the fashion runway at the Packers Women's Association Inaugural Fashion Show at Lambeau Field Atrium.

The event, slated to start at 7 p.m., will feature many Packers players and coaches and their wives or significant others modeling the latest fashions available at the Fox River Mall in Appleton, Wis. Tickets are priced at $20 per person, with proceeds from the show to benefit area charities.

"We're very excited to be hosting the PWA Inaugural Fashion Show at the Lambeau Field Atrium," said Eileen Gbaja-Biamila, PWA member and wife of Packers defensive end Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila. "We've got a fun, fast-paced show lined up that I'm sure everyone will enjoy. All of us involved are looking forward to taking part and seeing many of the players walk down the runway and help charity at the same time."

Additionally, some lucky fans will leave the show with an autographed Packers item or Fox River Mall gift certificate, which will be given away as door prizes.

Erin Davisson, news anchor for WFRV-TV and Dayton Kane, program director for Mix 95.9 FM, will preside as masters of ceremonies for the event, which is sponsored in part by the Fox River Mall, WFRV-TV and Mix 95.9 FM.

Tickets are available through the Packers' ticket office at (920) 496-5719 or the Fox River Mall's customer service center, located in the Northwoods Café, at (920) 739-4100. Doors will open at 6:15 p.m., with the show beginning at 7:00 p.m. Complimentary hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar will be available prior to the show.
