The Green Bay Packers Saturday signed non-drafted free agent receiver Chris Shreve, GM/Head Coach Mike Sherman announced.
Shreve, 22, earned a scholarship as a senior at Virginia Tech and caught only 14 career passes for 265 yards and three touchdowns. However, Shreve owns exceptional speed (4.36 in the 40-yard dash). The 6-foot, 188-pound receiver is one of two non-drafted free agents recently signed by Green Bay from Virginia Tech, joining tight end Keith Willis. His last name is pronounced SHREEV.
