The Green Bay Packers Thursday re-signed to their practice squad safety Julius Curry, and placed safety Wendell Williams on the practice squad/injured list (shin), GM/Head Coach Mike Sherman announced.

Curry, 6-0, 204-pound University of Michigan product, rejoins the Packers for his second stint on the team's practice squad this season, after previously being released on Sept. 21. Originally, he came to Green Bay on waivers, from Detroit Sept. 1, was waived in the final preseason roster reduction, Sept. 5, then re-signed to the practice squad two days later.

Williams, a 6-1, 215-pound defender out of Louisiana-Lafayette, was signed to the Packers practice squad Oct. 19. He signed as a non-drafted free agent with Cincinnati May 3, and was waived by the Bengals Aug. 30.
