The Green Bay Packers Tuesday waived Curtis Fuller, GM/Head Coach Mike Sherman announced.

Fuller, a 5-10, 188-pound defensive back out of Texas Christian, was signed last week (Oct. 27) to provide depth in the Packers' secondary and saw action in Sunday's contest at Washington.

A fourth-year NFL veteran, Fuller played in nine games with five tackles (all solo) and one pass defensed as a reserve last season, after the team claimed him on waivers from Seattle, Sept. 1, 2003. The Packers re-signed him as a restricted free agent, Feb. 25, then terminated him in the final preseason roster reduction, Sept. 5. He had been out of football until re-joining the Packers last week.

Fuller originally entered the NFL as the Seahawks' fourth-round selection in the 2001 draft.
