The Green Bay Packers Friday waived wide receiver Mike Marker. Ted Thompson, Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations, made the announcement.
Marker, a 6-foot, 190-pound player out of Millikin, spent the last two weeks of 2004 on the Packers' practice squad, then rejoined the club as a reserve/future free agent and was allocated to the Cologne Centurions of NFL Europe.
