The 28-year-old Freeman comes to Green Bay from the Miami Dolphins, where he spent all five years of his professional career. For the year, Freeman recorded 38 stops and a career-high four interceptions among seven passes defensed.
In his five seasons with the Dolphins, the 6-0, 198-pound safety has seen action in 72 regular-season games, also playing in three postseason contests. His career totals include 151 tackles, five interceptions and 22 passes defensed.
During his Miami tenure, Freeman played in all 16 regular-season games four consecutive seasons (2001-04) after having played in eight as a rookie. In 2002, Freeman earned significant playing time, starting all 16 games while contributing 96 tackles.
Freeman, a South Carolina alumnus, was the Dolphins' fifth-round selection (152nd overall) in the 2000 NFL draft. As a Gamecock, he posted career totals of 307 tackles, 10 interceptions, 19 passes defensed, a fumble recovery and four forced fumbles. He switched to cornerback as a senior after playing the previous three seasons at safety.
Little, a 6-0, 201-pound safety, enters his eighth year in the NFL, having played six of his seven years with the Cleveland Browns. Originally signed by the New Orleans Saints in 1997 as a non-drafted rookie free agent, the former Miami Hurricane has played in 103 career games with 52 starts.
For his career, the 32-year-old Little has recorded 392 tackles, 18 interceptions, 24 passes defensed, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and one sack. Last season, he played in 16 games with 11 starts, totaling 81 tackles and one interception, among four passes defensed.
